4: We’ll drive through the banana farm, marveling at the lush green vegetable farms along the way. Our journey includes a visit to a Kumquat farm, these little trees being traditional Tet gifts symbolizing luck, health, wealth, fertility, and peace.
5: Our next ride will take us to Tran Quoc Pagoda, situated on West Lake, one of the largest lakes in Hanoi. From certain vantage points, you’ll enjoy an overview of the city, featuring beautiful houses and stunning views of the affluent neighborhoods.
6: Continuing our journey, we’ll drive to Thanh Nien Street, adjacent to West Lake. At Truc Bach Lake, we’ll pause at the Monument of John McCain to learn about his story and the location where he was shot down.
7: Our adventure continues as we ride through a pass to explore the botanical garden and pass through small alleys, witnessing narrow houses. Our next stop is Huu Tiep Lake to see the B.52 Crash site, a poignant reminder of Hanoi’s history during the 1972 bombing raids.
8: Following a short Vespa ride towards Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, we’ll stop at a point offering an overview of the area, including the President Palace, Parliament Building, and government offices. Our guide will share the history and stories of Hanoi.
