14:00 – Embark on a cycling tour through the stunning Mai Chau valley. Ride past lush fields, charming villages, and experience the daily life of the White Thai ethnic group. Stop by local shops to discover handwoven brocade products made by the locals and shop for unique souvenirs.
Return to your homestay for a relaxing evening. You can unwind by the swimming pool or stroll around the homestay’s surroundings, enjoying the fresh air and tranquility.

Mai Chau Rustic Home or similar7:00 – After a hearty breakfast, board the vehicle and head to Pu Luong Nature Reserve. Stop at Pu Luong Eco Garden to drop off your bags before beginning the trek.
On Thursdays and Sundays, we will visit the Pho Doan market, where you can experience local life and interact with the villagers.
The trek will take you through small paths, passing quiet villages and beautiful jungle scenery. You’ll reach Hieu Village for stunning views of the mountains and valleys. Continue towards the waterfall (seasonal swimming and hiking activities available).
Relax with a Garden to Table Lunch at a local house, where you’ll enjoy fresh, traditional dishes prepared by the local ethnic minority people.
Afterward, enjoy some free time to rest, swim, or walk around before taking a ride back to the hotel.

7:30 – Enjoy breakfast at the Retreat before starting the trek to Kho Muong Village and Bat Cave. The trek takes you through narrow alleys past traditional Thai stilt houses, offering stunning views of the surrounding rice terraces. As you reach the top of the hill, take in the beauty of Kho Muong Village and learn about the special way of life here. You will then arrive at the entrance to Bat Cave (weather permitting).
11:30 – Check out of the Retreat, enjoy lunch, and say goodbye to the amazing Pu Luong Nature Reserve. Begin your journey to Ninh Binh, known for its stunning landscapes and dramatic limestone formations.
16:00 – Arrive at your hotel in Ninh Binh, check in, and relax.
Trang an Ecolodge or similar08:00 – Begin the day with a relaxing cycling tour to Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, the former capital of Vietnam during the Dinh, Tien Le, and Ly dynasties. Step back in time as you explore this historical site, rich in cultural heritage.
Next, enjoy a scenic boat tour to the UNESCO-listed Trang An. Travel through stunning limestone karsts, jungles, and caves, and admire the temples that dot the landscape. This serene boat ride offers breathtaking views and a glimpse into Vietnam’s deep history.

Trang An Ecolodge or similarEarly Morning (6:30-6:45 AM) – After breakfast, board the bus to the pontoon in Halong, where you will transfer to the main boat for your cruise to Lan Ha Bay. A takeaway breakfast will be provided.
Relax and enjoy a leisurely boat ride through the calm waters. The views of the dramatic karst peaks rising from the sea are truly breathtaking.
Afternoon – Visit the Dark and Light Caves, where you can enjoy kayaking or ride a traditional bamboo boat rowed by locals. Afterward, return to the boat to unwind with a cocktail or a relaxing massage.
As the day ends, the boat will sail back to its home base. Dinner will be served on board, followed by a quiet evening, drifting off to sleep to the sound of the waves.

Spend the morning exploring Lan Ha Bay, one of the most beautiful natural bays in Vietnam. You’ll have time to enjoy kayaking or relax as you cruise around the bay. Afterward, check out and enjoy brunch in the restaurant while the boat sails back to the pier.
